The management and the shareholders of the MEDIOLANUM GROUP firmly believe that the creation of values, determined by meeting the needs of the scientific community and patients, can be attained only by due consideration of the principles and ethical and behavioral values that are shown through the respect of:

• the interests of all categories of individuals who for various reasons come in contact with the Group (shareholders, employees, collaborators, clients, suppliers, financers, commercial partners, etc.),
• current laws and regulations, both national and European
• the Code of Professional Practice of Farmindustria, the head company Mediolanum Farmaceutici S.p.A. being  member
• the principles of good ethics and proper behavior towards all parties.

For this reason, in 2004, the Mediolanum Farmaceutici S.p.A . implemented  a quality system for the scientific information activities (QAIS) that is checked yearly by an independent certification body.
In addition, in the spring of 2006, the company adopted an organizational management and control model pursuant to  Legislative Decree 231/2001. A control body was formed (odv@mediolanum-farma.com) which was assigned the duty to ensure proper functioning of  the model, and a Code of Conduct was published that established the ethical and behavioral principles of all those working within the  GRUPPO MEDIOLANUM.
All companies under the Group umbrella  have adopted the Code of Conduct and those resident in Italy have also adopted the Farmindustria Code of Professional Practice.
